Our Story

Rumi Jujitsu was founded by Sensei Nightingale, a dedicated martial artist with over 25 years of experience. Named after the famous Persian poet and mystic, our dojo embodies the spiritual and physical aspects of martial arts training.
Starting with just a handful of students in a small community center, we’ve grown into a thriving dojo that serves practitioners of all ages and skill levels. Our commitment to authentic instruction and character development has made us a respected institution in the martial arts community.
Today, we continue to honor the traditional roots of jujitsu while incorporating modern training methods and safety practices to provide the best possible learning environment for our students.
